Book: “Kill Your Friends” – if you’re in the music industry this is a must read! A&R man goes on a rampage whilst revealing some truths about the industry. Other recommendations “The Best A Man Can Get” about a studio producer who writes jingles for adverts man leading a double life, “Homicide (A Year On The Killing Streets)” or “The Corner (A Year In The Life Of An Inner City Neighbourhood)” – not sure when these can out probably 90s but were repressed when The Wire came out. Gritty, real, tragic, funny and I just couldn’t put them down. Glad they came back an I got a chance to read them.
