Nukleuz top man, Pierre Pienaar presents the newest piece from his Melodia alias. A pseudonym that has been known for it’s more down-tempo, melodic and uplifting Trance than some of Pierre’s other guises, and which has previously received solid support from major names including Paul Van Dyk and Dave Pearce on BBC Radio 1.
Here, ‘Heaven’ lives up to Melodia’s reputation with soft female vocal stabs, smooth, flowing and uplifting synths to create a feel good Trancer as they’re meant to be made.
As the head of Nukleuz’s Green label, Namibian born Pierre is widely recognised as one of the leading and most respected producers in the Hard Trance scene for his productions under P.H.A.T.T. but here moves away from his trademark main room big Trance sound in favour of slowing the tempo and mellowing the vibes, crafting and building subtle melodies that flow effortlessly.
The remix here from Steve Noxx (Aka NuSense) takes a very different stance, with a real up-tempo whirring, pumping electro style beat that develops into a full Trance breakdown only to build back up into a massive Electro anthem. And, having previously received support from everyone including Marco V, Tiesto Paul Van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Sander Van Doorn, Steve is no newcomer to creating tracks and mixes that gain support from the worlds top DJs.
